Last Updated: July 15, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FurnitureAssemblyNC.com (“Website”) and services provided by Furniture Assembly Pros of NC, a service brand operated by Red-Snake Technology LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By using the Website, submitting a quote request, confirming an appointment, authorizing work, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms.

A written Service Order, quote, invoice, or signed Service Completion, Customer Acceptance & Limited Liability Agreement may contain job-specific terms. If a job-specific written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the job-specific written agreement will control for that service.

1. Services

We provide furniture assembly and related services by appointment at customer locations.

Services may include:

  • Furniture assembly
  • Minor furniture repair and adjustment
  • Shelf repair and reinstallation
  • Cabinet and wardrobe assembly
  • TV stand assembly
  • TV, mirror and shelf mounting
  • Wall anchoring
  • Gym and exercise equipment assembly
  • Office, bedroom, living-room and outdoor furniture assembly
  • Other related labor described in the service order or quote

Only services specifically included in the confirmed order or approved during the appointment are included.

Unless specifically agreed in writing and legally permitted, our services do not include electrical work, plumbing work, structural engineering, concealed utility relocation, major construction, drywall finishing, painting or work requiring a separate professional license or permit.

2. Quotes, Estimates and Pricing

Quotes and estimated completion times are based on the information available when the estimate is provided, including customer descriptions, photographs, product links and manufacturer information.

Quotes are estimates unless expressly identified as a fixed written price.

Final pricing may change because of:

  • Incorrect or incomplete product information
  • Additional furniture or components
  • Product complexity
  • Missing, damaged or incorrect parts
  • Previously assembled or partially assembled products
  • Prior improper assembly or repair
  • Damaged furniture materials
  • Difficult access or limited workspace
  • Wall, floor or site conditions
  • Additional labor or materials
  • Customer-requested changes
  • Work not included in the original request

Additional work or materials require customer authorization before being added to the service, except for minor incidental actions reasonably necessary to safely complete the approved work.

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Bookings and Appointments

Customers must provide accurate:

  • Name and contact information
  • Service address
  • Product description
  • Manufacturer and model information, when available
  • Product links, photographs or instructions requested by the Company
  • Information about the wall, floor or mounting surface
  • Information about known access or safety concerns

Appointment times and arrival windows are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur because of traffic, weather, previous appointments, unexpected product complexity or other circumstances outside the Company’s reasonable control.

We may reschedule or cancel an appointment when reasonably necessary and will attempt to notify the customer using the contact information provided.

An adult customer or authorized representative must be available at the service location unless another arrangement is approved in advance.

4. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing safe and lawful access to the service location
  • Ensuring that the customer is the property owner or is authorized to approve the work
  • Providing all available product boxes, parts, hardware and instructions
  • Confirming that all required packages have arrived
  • Providing accurate manufacturer and model information
  • Clearing a reasonably safe work area
  • Keeping children, pets and other persons away from the active work area
  • Disclosing known wall, floor, plumbing, electrical or structural conditions
  • Identifying known utilities, obstructions or hazards near mounting locations
  • Providing working electricity when reasonably required
  • Selecting and approving the final item location
  • Inspecting completed work before the technician leaves
  • Using and maintaining completed items safely

The Company is not responsible for delays or incomplete work caused by inaccessible areas, missing products, unavailable parts, unsafe conditions or inaccurate information provided by the customer.

5. Product Parts, Materials and Manufacturer Defects

The Company does not manufacture or sell the customer’s furniture, equipment, mounting systems or other third-party products unless expressly stated in writing.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Missing, incorrect or damaged parts
  • Defective fasteners or hardware
  • Inaccurate or incomplete instructions
  • Damaged packaging
  • Poor material quality
  • Weak particleboard, MDF or composite materials
  • Pre-existing cosmetic or structural damage
  • Product design defects
  • Previously stripped holes or damaged mounting points
  • Prior improper assembly, installation or repair
  • Product recalls
  • Incompatibility between customer-supplied products or components

The technician may stop work if a product, part, mounting surface or proposed installation appears unsafe or unsuitable.

If the customer requests that work continue despite a known defect, missing component or damaged part, the condition may be documented in the Service Order or Service Completion Agreement.

6. Furniture and Shelf Repairs

Minor repair or reinstallation services are performed using reasonable care based on the visible condition of the item and available mounting surfaces.

The customer understands that repairs to damaged furniture, shelves, cabinets, particleboard, MDF, brackets, fasteners or previously failed mounting points may not restore the item to its original:

  • Appearance
  • Strength
  • Alignment
  • Durability
  • Manufacturer specifications
  • Weight capacity

Repair work may require new holes, larger anchors, replacement hardware or relocation of mounting points.

Unless specifically stated in writing, the Company does not guarantee a particular load capacity for repaired, reinstalled or previously damaged furniture or shelving.

Cosmetic restoration, drywall patching, texture matching, painting and refinishing are not included unless specifically listed in the service order.

7. Wall Anchoring and Mounting

Wall mounting and anchoring depend on visible and hidden conditions, including:

  • Wall materials
  • Stud locations
  • Masonry
  • Drywall thickness
  • Existing holes
  • Hidden damage
  • Concealed pipes
  • Electrical wiring
  • Ductwork
  • Blocking
  • Customer-supplied mounts and hardware

The Company cannot guarantee the location or absence of concealed utilities, structural components or hidden defects that are not reasonably visible or disclosed.

The customer must disclose known plumbing, wiring, structural conditions or other concealed hazards near the proposed mounting area.

Drilling, anchoring or mounting normally requires holes in walls or other surfaces. Reasonable holes resulting from the approved installation are considered part of the requested service.

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer is responsible for providing a compatible and properly rated TV mount, bracket, hardware system or product-specific mounting component.

The Company may refuse or stop mounting when the wall, product, mount, hardware or proposed location appears unsafe or unsuitable.

8. Declined or Incomplete Wall Anchoring

Wall anchoring or mounting may be:

  • Completed by the Company
  • Not required for the particular service
  • Declined by the customer
  • Unable to be completed because of wall or site conditions

When anchoring or mounting is recommended or required but declined by the customer, the refusal may be documented in the printed Service Completion Agreement and confirmed by the customer’s initials.

When anchoring cannot be completed because of wall construction, hidden conditions, inaccessible framing, unsuitable hardware or other site limitations, the condition may also be documented and acknowledged by the customer’s initials.

The customer understands that an unsecured item may tip, shift, fall or detach and may cause property damage, serious injury or death.

The customer assumes responsibility for consequences to the extent caused by:

  • The customer’s decision to decline recommended anchoring
  • Use of an item after being informed that it remains unsecured
  • Failure to arrange appropriate anchoring
  • Removal or modification of installed anchors
  • Relocation of the item after completion
  • Overloading or misuse of the unsecured item

9. Weight Limits, Overloading and Safe Use

Shelves, cabinets, wardrobes, furniture, TV mounts and other installed or assembled products must be used within applicable manufacturer weight and use limits.

The customer is responsible for:

  • Properly distributing weight
  • Avoiding excessive or uneven loading
  • Preventing climbing, pulling or hanging
  • Preventing children from climbing on furniture
  • Avoiding impact or misuse
  • Following manufacturer safety instructions
  • Periodically inspecting accessible fasteners
  • Stopping use if an item becomes loose, unstable, damaged or begins to sag

The Company is not responsible for sagging, bending, loosening, tipping, falling, detachment, wall damage or product failure to the extent caused by:

  • Excessive or uneven loading
  • Climbing, pulling or hanging
  • Impact or misuse
  • Failure to inspect or maintain the item
  • Loose fasteners after continued use
  • Relocation
  • Modification
  • Removal or alteration of anchoring
  • Material deterioration
  • Customer-supplied hardware
  • Use contrary to manufacturer instructions

No specific shelf, cabinet, furniture or mounting-system load capacity is guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

10. TVs, Electronics and Gym Equipment

The Company provides physical assembly and mounting services only.

Unless expressly stated in writing, the Company does not diagnose, repair or warrant:

  • Televisions
  • Electronic components
  • Motors
  • Internal wiring
  • Bluetooth
  • Wi-Fi
  • Applications
  • Software
  • Firmware
  • Sensors
  • Calibration
  • Internet connectivity
  • Customer-supplied cables
  • Product programming

The customer is responsible for verifying product compatibility and electronic functionality.

Testing is performed only when reasonably practical and when the required power, accessories, remotes, cables, applications and connected equipment are available.

The customer is responsible for manufacturer-required maintenance, inspections and periodic tightening of accessible fasteners.

11. Changes and Additional Work

The customer may request changes or additional services during the appointment.

Additional work is subject to:

  • Technician availability
  • Safety and feasibility
  • Required tools and materials
  • Additional charges
  • Customer approval

The technician is not required to perform work that was not included in the original order when there is insufficient time, equipment, information or safe access.

Verbal approval given during the appointment may authorize reasonable additional labor or materials. Significant changes should be documented in writing when practical.

12. Inspection and Service Completion

The customer must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect completed work before the technician leaves.

The customer should check, when applicable:

  • Furniture placement
  • Visible condition
  • Doors and drawers
  • Shelves
  • Accessible fasteners
  • Alignment
  • Stability
  • Mounting position
  • Moving components
  • Items or work specifically included in the order

Acceptance may be documented through the printed Service Completion, Customer Acceptance & Limited Liability Agreement.

Visible concerns should be reported before the technician leaves or as soon as reasonably possible after service. Concerns reported later may be more difficult to verify because the item may have been used, loaded, moved, altered or handled by other persons.

Reporting a concern within 24 hours is strongly encouraged. This notice period does not eliminate any legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

The customer must provide the Company a reasonable opportunity to inspect the disputed work before allowing another person to repair, modify, disassemble or relocate it, except when immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent injury or additional property damage.

13. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Access

Customers are encouraged to provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling.

Repeated late cancellations, unavailable customers, inaccessible service locations or no-shows may result in refusal of future service.

The Company may reschedule, suspend or cancel work because of:

  • Unsafe or unsanitary conditions
  • Aggressive animals
  • Pest infestation
  • Harassment or threatening conduct
  • Illegal activity
  • Inaccessible work areas
  • Insufficient lighting or utilities
  • Severe weather
  • Product or site conditions that make the work unsafe
  • Other circumstances reasonably preventing completion

If work has already begun, the customer remains responsible for authorized labor performed and materials used before work is stopped.

14. Photographs and Documentation

The Company may request, take and retain photographs or videos to:

  • Prepare estimates
  • Identify products and parts
  • Document existing damage
  • Document wall or site conditions
  • Document completed work
  • Address customer questions
  • Handle payment, insurance or legal disputes
  • Maintain internal service records

Photographs will not intentionally be used for public advertising in a way that identifies a customer, address, person, vehicle plate or private living area without separate permission.

The collection and use of personal information are governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy.

15. Third-Party Warranties

All warranties relating to customer-owned furniture, TVs, exercise equipment, mounts, hardware or other products remain with the manufacturer, seller or retailer.

The Company is not an authorized warranty representative unless expressly confirmed in writing.

The Company does not guarantee:

  • Third-party product quality
  • Product lifespan
  • Manufacturer performance
  • Replacement-part availability
  • Product structural integrity
  • Continued manufacturer warranty coverage after assembly or installation

The customer is responsible for reviewing the manufacturer’s warranty terms.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable North Carolina law, the Company is not responsible for losses or damage to the extent caused by:

  • Manufacturer or product defects
  • Missing or defective parts
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Inaccurate customer information
  • Hidden or undisclosed site conditions
  • Excessive or uneven loading
  • Misuse or improper maintenance
  • Customer-requested deviations
  • Customer-supplied hardware or mounts
  • Refusal of recommended anchoring
  • Removal or alteration of anchors
  • Relocation or modification after completion
  • Actions of the customer, family members, guests, tenants, contractors or other third parties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of income or loss of business, arising from the service.

The Company’s total liability arising from a specific service will not exceed the amount paid for that specific service, except where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

North Carolina prohibits unfair or deceptive acts in commerce, so the Terms should not contain absolute statements attempting to eliminate all legal responsibility regardless of the circumstances.

17. Customer-Caused Claims and Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, the customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Red-Snake Technology LLC and Furniture Assembly Pros of NC from third-party claims, losses or expenses to the extent proximately caused by:

  • Customer misuse
  • Overloading
  • Failure to maintain or inspect the item
  • Failure to secure an unsecured item
  • Refusal of recommended anchoring
  • Unauthorized relocation or modification
  • Removal or alteration of anchors
  • Inaccurate information supplied by the customer
  • Acts of the customer’s family members, guests, tenants, contractors or other third parties

This provision does not require the customer to indemnify the Company for losses caused by the Company’s own negligence or willful misconduct.

18. Communications

By providing a telephone number or email address in connection with a quote, booking or service, the customer authorizes service-related communications concerning:

  • Estimates
  • Scheduling
  • Appointment confirmations
  • Arrival information
  • Questions about the work
  • Service updates
  • Payment and receipts
  • Customer-support matters

Message and data rates may apply.

The customer may request that nonessential text messages stop by replying STOP or by contacting the Company through the Website.

Marketing messages, if used, will be handled separately where additional consent is legally required. FCC rules recognize a consumer’s ability to revoke consent for covered robocalls and robotexts through reasonable methods and require opt-out requests to be honored in a timely manner.

19. Website Use

The customer agrees not to:

  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Introduce malicious software
  • Interfere with Website operation
  • Use the Website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
  • Copy or misuse Company branding or Website content

Website content, availability and functionality may be changed, suspended or discontinued without guarantee of uninterrupted access.

Product links, manufacturer sites, payment platforms, maps and other third-party services are controlled by their respective providers. The Company is not responsible for independent third-party websites or services.

20. Privacy

Use of the Website and services is also governed by the Company’s Privacy Policy available at:

21. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and services are governed by the laws of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before filing a claim, the parties are encouraged to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue directly.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the parties consent to venue in Wake County, North Carolina.

Each party will bear its own attorney fees and expenses unless an award is authorized by applicable law or court order.

22. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Failure by the Company to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce it later.

A waiver is effective only when made in writing by an authorized representative of the Company.

23. Entire Agreement and Order of Priority

These Terms, the applicable Privacy Policy and any confirmed quote, Service Order, invoice or signed Service Completion Agreement constitute the agreement concerning the service.

If the documents conflict, the following order applies:

  • Signed Service Completion Agreement or other signed job-specific agreement

Verbal statements do not modify written terms unless confirmed by the Company in writing.

24. Changes to These Terms

The Company may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, business practices or legal requirements.
